Between my finger and my thumb
The squat pen rests.
I’ll dig with it.

Writing your autobiography helps you to understand who you have been, who you are, and who you aspire to be.

We have developed a unique method which we call “thematic autobiography.”  This method uses a set of universal themes–themes about career and family, choices and regrets, obstacles and opportunities accompanied by evocative questions intended to stimulate memories.

The benefits of writing “thematic autobiography” include:

  • Understanding past events
  • Forming new insights
  • Coping with difficult life transitions such as widowhood, retirement, death and divorce
  • Adapting to the challenges of aging, illness and disability
  • Finding meaning and acceptance in the story of your life
